Without Automatic Dimming Mirror

  1. Loosen the screw with a TORX T20 bit.

  2. Fastener Location? : Screw, 13/8-24 UNF 3.9 N·m (0.40 kgf·m, 2.9 lbf·ft)Apply thread lock.
  1. Slide the rearview mirror (A) rearward and off the mount (B).

  2. BA
  3. Install the mirror in the reverse order of removal, and apply medium strength liquid thread lock to the TORX screw.


With Automatic Dimming Mirror

  1. Disconnect the connector (A), and remove the mirror harness cover (B) from the mirror base (C).

  2. ABC
  1. Loosen the screw with a TORX T20 bit, then slide the rearview mirror (A) rearward and off the mount (B).

  2. ABFastener Location? : Screw, 13/8-24 UNF 3.9 N·m (0.40 kgf·m, 2.9 lbf·ft)Apply thread lock.
  3. Install the mirror in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

    • Before installing the mirror, remove the TORX screw, and apply medium strength liquid thread lock to it.

    • Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
