Front Passenger's Seat

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, and precautions and procedures   before doing repairs or servicing.

  1. Remove the front passenger's seat recline cover.

  1. Disconnect the 12P connector from the power seat adjustment switch (A).

  3. Remove the power seat adjustment switch knobs (B), then remove the two screws and the switch.

  4. Reinstall the adjustment switch knobs to the switch.

  1. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.

  2. TerminalPositionSLIDESWITCHForwardBackward24678101112RECLINESWITCHForwardBackward???*???*????*????*??*: There is continuity without operating a switch.
  3. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.

  4. Install the switch in the reverse order of removal.
