You can select three different rearview camera angles for backing up. If there is no camera image on the display, go to Rearview camera image does not come on or work properly troubleshooting.
Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.
Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals.
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
Move the shift lever to R.
Press the interface dial to see if the rearview image changes
between the wide view, the normal view, and the top down view in this
order.
Does the rearview camera image change properly?
YES —
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.¦
NO —
Go to step 4.
Move the shift lever to P or N.
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
Disconnect audio-navigation unit connector G (24P).
Disconnect the rearview camera 12P connector.
Check for continuity between body ground and audio-navigation
unit connector G (24P) terminals No. 5 and No. 18
individually.
Is there continuity?
YES —
Repair a short to body ground in the wire(s) between the audio-navigation unit and the rearview camera.¦
NO —
Go to step 9.
Check for continuity between audio-navigation unit connector G (24P) terminals No. 5 and No. 18.
Is there continuity?
YES —
Repair a short in the wires between the audio-navigation unit and the rearview camera.¦
NO —
Go to step 10.
Check for continuity between audio-navigation unit connector G
(24P) terminals No. 5 and No. 18 and rearview camera 12P connector
terminals No. 7 and No. 8 respectively.
Is there continuity?
YES —
Go to step 11.
NO —
Repair an open in the wire(s) between the audio-navigation unit and the rearview camera.¦
