Honda Odyssey Service Manual: Power Tailgate Drive Unit Replacement

Remove the C-pillar trim.

Remove the upper trim and the left tailgate side trim.

Note the alignment marks on the drive unit and the arm unit, then carefully remove the two bolts (A), nut (B), and the arm unit (C).

Disconnect the connectors (A), and remove the three bolts (B) and the drive unit (C).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Align the marks (A) of the drive unit and arm unit to install the arm unit to the original alignment.
