NOTE: Take care not to scratch the body.

  1. Open the front door and sliding door.

  1. Remove the side sill panel (A).

    1. Canada models: Remove the screws (B), then remove the front splash guard (C).

    1. Remove the screws (D).

    1. Remove the clips (E).

    1. Slide the side sill panel forward. The side clips (F) and the grommet (G) will stay in the body.

    1. Remove the side clips by turning them 45 °.

    2. Fastener LocationsD ? : Screw, 5E ? : Clip, 1 FDAF??F ? : Clip, 14DFDFFFFFFFFFDDEFrontGGB ? : Screw, 4BBBBCFFFCanada models??

  2. If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.

  3. Install the side clips on the side sill panel.

  4. Remove the grommet from the body, then install the grommet to the clips on the side sill panel.

  5. Hold the panel up, and fit all the side clips into the holes in the body, then push on the panel until the side clips snap into place.

  6. Canada models: Reinstall the front splash guard.

  7. Reinstall the screws.
