Honda Odyssey Service Manual: Ambient Light Test/Replacement

NOTE: The ambient light is built into the interior light switch.

1. Remove the front individual map lights.

2. Disconnect the interior light switch 12P connector (A) and the front individual map light 3P connector (B).

   Ambient Light: LED

3. Remove the interior light switch (C) from the front individual map light housing.

4. At the interior light switch 12P connector, check the light by connecting battery power to terminal No. 11 and ground to terminal No. 9. The ambient light should come on.

5. If the LED does not come on, the ambient light is faulty; replace the interior light switch assembly.

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
