NOTE:

  • Do not damage or drop the sensor as it is sensitive.

  • Do not use power tools when replacing the sensor.

  • Check the sensor bracket for a deformation.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

  1. Remove the center lower console.

  1. Remove the yaw rate-acceleration sensor (A).

  2. AB6 x 1.0 mm9.4 N·m (0.96 kgf·m, 6.9 lbf·ft)
  3. Disconnect the yaw rate-acceleration sensor 4P connector (B).

  1. Install the yaw rate-acceleration sensor in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Do the VSA sensor neutral position memorization.
