Honda Odyssey Service Manual: Front

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.

  1. Remove the front wheel.

  1. Disconnect the brake line (A) from the brake hose (B), then remove the brake hose clip (C).

  2. A10 x 1.0 mmBCReplace.
  1. Remove the banjo bolt (A), and disconnect the brake hose (B) from the caliper body.

  2. C8 x 1.25 mmBA
  3. Remove the brake hose mounting bolt (C), then remove the brake hose.

  1. Install the brake hose (A) with the mounting bolt (B).

  2. AB8 x 1.25 mm 21 N·m (2.1 kgf·m, 15 lbf·ft)C10 x 1.0 mm 35 N·m (3.6 kgf·m, 26 lbf·ft)DReplace.
  3. Connect the brake hose to the caliper body with the banjo bolt (C) and new sealing washers (D).

  1. Install the new brake hose clip (A) to the brake hose (B)   on the bracket, then connect the brake line (C). Do not twist the brake hose.

  2. C10 x 1.0 mm 15 N·m (1.5 kgf·m, 11 lbf·ft)BAReplace.
  3. After installing the brake hose, bleed the brake system.

  4. Do the following checks:

    • Check the brake hose and line joint for leaks, and tighten if necessary.

    • Check the brake hoses for interference and twisting.

  5. Clean the mating surfaces between the brake disc and the inside of the wheel, then install the front wheel.
