NOTE: Put on gloves to protect your hands.

  1. Remove the door panel.

  1. Remove the latch remote control assembly (A) from the door.

    1. Disconnect the remote control assembly connectors (B).

    1. Release the cable holders (C), and disconnect the outer handle cable (D), the lower roller cable (E), the front latch cable (F), and the rear latch cable (G).

    1. Remove the bolts (H) and the screw (I).

    1. Detach the harness clip (J), and release the hook (K).

  2. CCIEHCBJFHGDFastener LocationsH ? : Bolt, 3I ? : Screw, 16 x 1.0 mm9.4 N·m(0.96 kgf·m, 6.9 lbf·ft)J ? : Clip, 1BCAKH????????
  1. Release the cable holder (A), and disconnect the failsafe lever cable (B) from the latch remote control assembly (C).

  2. BAC
  1. If necessary, release the hook (A), then remove the latch remote control assembly cover (B).

  2. BA
  3. Install the latch remote control assembly in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

    • Make sure each connector is plugged in properly, and each cable is routed properly and connected securely.

    • Take care not to bend any of the cables.

    • Make sure the door locks and opens properly.
